Every photo uploaded to CosDates is immediately scanned by AI image recognition tools. Content flagged as explicit, nude, or sexually suggestive is automatically removed before it ever appears on the platform. Bios and messages are scanned for prohibited solicitation keywords.
All AI-flagged content is reviewed by a real human moderator within 24 hours. Our team reviews context, not just pixels. Appeals are handled with care. No one gets permanently banned without a human making that call.
Every profile, photo, and message thread has a visible Report button. Reports are routed directly to our moderation queue with priority scoring. Reporters receive a follow-up within 48 hours.
Violations of our community standards result in a progressive strike system. We believe in second chances — but not third strikes for serious violations.
Note: Some violations (CSAM, credible threats, doxxing) result in immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement with no warning.

CosDates uses match-gated messaging — you can only send a message to someone after you have both liked each other's profiles. No cold DMs. No unsolicited contact. External links shared in messages are scanned and flagged until both parties have established an ongoing conversation. You can block or report any user directly from the message thread at any time, and that user will not be notified that you blocked them.
